PROFESSIONAL BIO

Curtis is a professional musician, working as a contract musician, singer, songwriter, arranger, music director, worship leader, private coach, college educator and entrepreneur. Curtis has been working in vocational worship ministry since the late 90’s, in Christian Higher Education since the late 2000’s, and additionally serves as a resource to the Local Church across the Twin Cities. Curtis is musically influenced by worship leaders and commercial artists in genres like folk, gospel, jazz, pop, neo-soul and R&B.

Curtis holds a Bachelors of Church Music from North Central University, a Masters of Leadership from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and a Masters of Music in Contemporary Vocal Performance from McNally Smith College of Music. Additionally, Curtis also holds an Ableton Certificate from Slam Academy and a Piano Tuning and Repair Certification from The Piano Technician Academy. Curtis lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife and 3 sons, where he operates CWH Music Group, a record label for independent artists, as well as CWH Piano Tuning.
